A recent study shows that nearly one third of malaria medication is fake or simply doesn't work. Malaria is one of the worlds deadliest diseases in terms of how many people it has killed. Due to this statistic one would think that more attention would be payed to the effectiveness of the medication. However fake medications run rampant in the industry. In order to stop this terrible disease we probably need our medication to work...

Obama is so unpopular in parts of the country that in West Virginia's Democratic presidential primary an inmate(Keith Judd) won 41% percent of the vote against Obama's 59%. Many people are voting for him simply because they don't like Obama. Ronnie Brown a man from West Virginia said that he "voted against Obama". When asked who he did vote for he said "That guy out of Texas." He did not even remember the name of the candidate he voted for showing how he voted against Obama without even knowing the other candidate's policies. (Or that he was in jail). It's one thing to not like your president but voting for someone you don't know just out of spite is something else entirely...
Mensa recently inducted it's all time youngest member. Emmelyn Roettger Mensa's now youngest member joined at the age of 2. Mensa (the international genius society) only allows those who score in  the top 2% on one of 200 accepted standardized tests. As a baby her doctor's thought she was autistic because she didn't respond to toys or other things like a normal baby. On a hunch her mom brought her in to have her vision tested. It turned out she just needed glasses and from then on has been acting just like a baby with an IQ of 135 should be. She could already read at age 2 and recognize letters.

According to Dr. Ronald Breslow intelligent, advanced dinosaurs may rule other planets. Assuming you believe in the theory that the dinosaurs were exterminated by a giant meteor hitting the earth this should make sense to you. If the dinosaurs had never gone extinct whose to say that they wouldn't have evolved to be as intelligent as humans. This is his theory that if the meteor had never struck dinosaurs would continue to rule the earth. So why couldn't dinosaur like creatures not exist on other planets. Imagine a T-Rex with the intelligence of a human. I think we should avoid that.

Recently the air speed velocity of both the African and European unladen swallows was finally determined last week. How this baffled scientists for 37 years confuses even the scientists that solved the problem. They have also determined that these swallows are the cause of the recent outcropping of the invasive coconut tree throughout Europe. These coconuts were once believed to be used as a sort of battle drum for the nights of Camelot. These knights however no longer exist due to the battle between the knights and the "Police" where they were all executed for the murder of a historian.

i think this is the first time i've titled a post

Recently  James Whittaker a Google employee left to join Microsoft. He did this because he believes the company in pursuit of profit is cutting back on the creativity everyone at Google loves so much. He believes that Google is losing its identity and becoming more of a conventional business. Google has always allowed its employees to spend 20% of their time working on creative new ideas Google is cutting back on this however. Whittaker thinks this is because of Google's inability to compete with Facebook. To do this they created Google+ which he thinks is what is the root of the problem everyone's time is being put into rather than new creative projects. Google is simply trying to make a profit like any business but is it worth sacrificing what separates them form everyone else?
